Father’s Day Freebies & Deals, 2012 Edition

When it comes to making dads feel appreciated, Father’s Day freebies may help (but they don’t replace actual effort). Here are 2012′s deals (we’ll add to the list as more become available):

• On June 17, 2012, dads can stop by participating locations of The Counter for a free burger. Per the tiny type, the dine-in only offer is good for a free 1/3-lb. burger, and the dad must be accompanied by another paying guest.To get the deal, mention that you want the “BFD” (Translation: Burger for Dad).
• From open until 11:00 a.m. on June 17, 2012, participating IKEA locations are offering dads a free breakfast.
• On June 17, 2012, dads can get free fro-yo at TCBY; details vary by location.
• On Father’s Day, June 17, dads get a free lasagne or spaghetti at participating locations of The Spaghetti Warehouse. Bonus: Dads born in 1972 (the same year as The Spaghetti Warehouse) will get a free brownie sundae.
• On June 17, 2012, if you print this coupon or show it on your mobile device, you can buy one drink & get one of equal or lesser value free at participating Caribou Coffee locations.
• On June 17, 2012, if you buy one entree, dad will get a free entree of equal or lesser value at participating Tijuana Flats locations.
• At participating Beef O’Brady’s locations, if you buy an entree on June 17, dad will get a free entree (up to a $10 value).
• If you send your dad a Father’s Day eCard, Denny’s will treat each of you to a coupon good for a free Pancake Puppies sundae with entree purchase at participating locations (or print the coupon here). There’s a limit of one coupon per check per visit, and it expires on June 30,  2012.
• You can print a Father’s Day eCard that includes a coupon good for free pancakes for dads during regular hours at participating Shoney’s locations; limit two pancakes.
• If you treat dad to brunch or dinner at Fleming’s on Father’s Day, they’ll treat dad to a free $25 dining card to be used on a future visit.
• If you treat dad to a meal at Stoney River on Father’s Day, they’ll treat dad to a free $20 Reward Card to be used on a future visit.
• At participating Brunswick Zone Bowling locations, dads bowl free when accompanied by their son or daughter on Father’s Day. Limit one free game per each paid game on June 17, 2012.
• This weekend, you can participate in free & cheap crafts at Michaels:
  • 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on June 15: Father’s Day Duck Tape Wallet Free Make-It Take-It. Ages 3+
  • 10:00 a.m.-noon on June 16: Father’s Day T-shirt/Tie Make-It Take-It with purchase of T-shirt/Tie. Ages 3+
• At 3:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. on June 16, stop by participating Pottery Barn Kids locations for a free “stained glass” picture frame Father’s Day craft event.
