On Father’s Day, June 19, 2011, dads can stop by a participating location of The Counter for a free burger. To get the deal, mention that you want the “BFD” (Translation: Burger for Dad).
Per the tiny type, the dine-in only offer is good for a free 1/3-lb. burger, and the dad must be accompanied by another paying guest. In past years, the deal required that children be present for the dad to qualify for a free meal, but I don’t see that in this year’s restrictions. Check with your local The Counter before you go if your idea of a Father’s Day indulgence is lunch out with your wife sans kids. Airport locations are not participating in the BFD promotion.
