Lowe’s offers make-&-take workshops for kids, though they’re better known as their free Build & Grow workshops. The workshops typically start at 10:00 a.m., and they’d like you to RSVP online (though I’ve heard that step is generally unnecessary in practice). Here are the projects the kids can tackle over the next couple of weeks:
- Saturday, January 22: Ball Toss
- Saturday, February 12: Music Box
If these projects aren’t a good fit for your brood, check back in a few weeks. Lowe’s typically offers a few free Build & Grow workshops each month. I suspect we’ll be stopping by to make the music box–it has a heart top, and I’m sure my girly-girls will love to decorate them for their dressers.
