If I lived closer to the Atlanta-area Bass Pro Shops, I’d definitely take the girls to this event. It looks like a lot of fun: From noon-5:00 p.m. on March 13 & 14, participating Bass Pro Shops will host a Next Generation Weekend. During the event, there’ll be plenty of family-friendly activities to enjoy—free fishing basics, free casting game, free shooting gallery, free sailboat races, & a free craft (paint your own wiggle fish). Plus, you can get a free photo of yourself on the cover of Field & Stream (faux, natch, but your future fisherman will love it).
