Williams-Sonoma offers free in-store cooking & technique classes. The specific times may vary from place to place, and you’ll need to RSVP. Here’s a look at what’s coming up in the next couple of weeks:

Sundays are tech class days. March 7 is “Simply Souffle,” March 14 is “Cookies,” March 21 is “Cakes & Cupcakes,” & March 28 is “Pies & Tarts.” I’m tempted to head out for all four, but I’m definitely interested in the one about souffles—I’ve yet to pull one off.

During the rest of the week, you can stop by for product demonstrations & instruction in basic techniques about everything from knives & cake decorating to Irish favorites & sweet snacks.
