IKEA: 20%-60% Off Select Items Starting Dec. 18 & One-Day Sales + Free Breakfast & Kid’s Meals from Dec. 26-Jan. 3

Very tempted to stop by IKEA to see what’s on sale & treat the kids to a free lunch out. Anyone shopped there during the holidays? Madhouse or manageable?
From December 26, 2009-January 3, 2010, IKEA’s offering a couple of food freebies:
1) Kids Eat Free. You can choose any three kid-sized items to make a meal (options include five meatballs, mac & cheese, PB&J, kid’s yogurt, chocolate milk, cookies, & more). The offer is valid from 11:00 a.m.-close for kids ages 12 & under; participation varies.
2) Free breakfast (one small breakfast + one cup of coffee) until 11:00 a.m. each day. Limit one per customer. Not valid at IKEA Houston or IKEA Direct.
As for the sale that started today, there’s no word on IKEA’s site as to what’s marked down 20%-60%; I suspect it varies by location. They’re offering one-day only sales, too, from December 26-January 3. Here’s a look at what’s available:
- Dec. 26: IDBYN champagne flute. $0.25/each (reg. $0.99). Limit 6 per customer.
- Dec. 27: POANG armchair with Alme cushion. $49 (reg. $89). Limit 1 per customer.
- Dec. 28: LEKSVIK drop-leaf table. $69 (reg. $169). Limit 1 per customer.
- Dec. 29: DETOLF glass-door cabinet. $19.99 (reg. $59). Limit 1 per customer.
- Dec. 30: BJURSTA dining table. $199 (reg. $399). Limit 1 per customer.
- Dec. 31: SPARSAM low-energy bulbs. $0.99/2-pack (reg. $6.59). Limit 4 packs per household.
- Jan. 1: LINNARP desk $49 (reg. $119), bookcase $99 (reg. $249), TV bench $49 (reg. $249). Limit 1 per customer.
- Jan. 2: MALM three-drawer chest. $39.99 (reg. $79.99). Limit 1 per customer.
