80% off Restaurant.com Gift Certificates, Gift Cards & Dinner of The Month Club Orders through December 25
Posted By CitiesCheap on December 18, 2009
Through December 25, Restaurant.com’s cheap discount certificates get even cheaper: you can save 80% off Restaurant.com gift certificate orders by using promo code “SANTA”. What does that mean for you? A $25 gift certificate regularly sells for $10. After the discount, you can get the $25 gift certificate for just $2, the $50 certificate for $4, the $75 certificate for $6 and the $100 certificate for $8. The “SANTA” promo code works for other deals, too: You can use it to slash 80% off the cost of buying Restaurant.com gift cards, Dinner of the Month club orders, & Restaurant.com discount restaurant certificates, too.
Unlike traditional Restaurant.com purchases, the gift certificates, gift cards, & Dinner of the Month club offers are meant to be used as gifts. They’re not valid at the restaurants themselves, but the recipient can redeem them to buy discount restaurant certificates on Restaurant.com.
As for the restaurant certificates themselves, you’ll find a variety of deals on Restaurant.com: $25 certificates for $10, $10 certificates for $3, and more. All of the vendors apply their own restrictions to each certificate’s redemption, so read the fine print before you check out to make sure it’ll be a good deal for you.

FYI–I’ve linked you directly to the deal using my Affiliate link. Translation: I get credit for telling you about the deal, and they may choose to send a few cents my way to say, “Thanks for the referral.” I tell you this because a) My site’s rules require it. b) The FTC requires it. I like to get paid for the work that I do re: tracking down deals, so if you plan to take advantage of the deal & feel like sending a little love my way, please use the link. Otherwise, go to Restaurant.com.
Thanks, Jen!
This was, by far, one of the best deals you’ve found thus far! I mean, you can’t beat paying $8 for a $100 gift certificate……EVER! =)
Thanks again. And keep on “tracking down those deals!” =)
You say they are not valid at the restaurants themselves? I am confused
Chelsea,
It’s confusing–they even have a glossary on their site.
People typically buy the Restaurant.com discount certificates. Those are the restaurant-specific discounts.
Restaurant.com also has other Restaurant.com-specific deals: gift certificates, gift cards, and a dinner-of-the-month club. You wouldn’t use those at the restaurants themselves; rather, they’re meant to be used as gifts. When people are ready to cash in, they can redeem that gift certificate/card to buy an equivalent value of restaurant-specific discount certificates on Restaurant.com.
Does that make more sense? ~Jenn
