I tried posting this deal when I came across it yesterday, but once the press release came out, people crashed their servers:

Megabus.com is giving away 100,000 free tickets for travel between January 6-March 20, 2010. Not familiar with Megabus? It’s the first city-to-city express bus service. Fares already are as low as $1, but this will definitely save you some money.

Looking at the map, most of the cities served are in the Northeast & Midwest parts of the U.S. & Canada. For Atlanta readers, you could take advantage of the deal if you’re willing to drive to Tennessee to start your trip. But if you have zero interest in driving the whole way & still need to get to some place like Wisconsin, Toronto, or Boston to visit family, it could work out for you.
