Reminder: Free Admission to Museums, Botanical Gardens & Performances

Posted By CitiesCheap on December 4, 2009

It’s the first week of the month, which means it’s time to be on the lookout for free admission deals to performances, botanical gardens, museums, and other attractions in your city. Here are a couple of quick lists to keep you in the loop:

Museums on Us Are you a Bank of America account holder? If so, take advantage of the Museums on Us perk. Just show your Bank of America credit or debit card on the first weekend of every month, and you’ll get free admission to over 70 museums and attractions in cities across the U.S. You’ll find deals for free admission to the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, the Bronx Zoo, the Birch Aquarium at Scripps in San Diego, and others.

Target Sponsored Happenings Target sponsors free admission days & buy one, get one ticket deals in cities across the U.S. You’ll find free performances at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., free admission to the Miami Children’s Museum, BOGO tickets to performances at the Congo Square Theatre and Lookingglass Theater in Chicago, and more. Unlike Museums on Us, Target’s deals are valid at various points during the month, so mark your calendars to take advantage of the deals.
