I’m in the middle of a book, else I’d likely start reading this one: You can download a free eBook of Makers by Cory Doctorow. The freebie is Doctorow’s small way of fighting the eBook publishers’ attempt to alter copyright law (i.e. when you buy a book, you own the book, and you can share it with anyone you please). There are several official versions available, including plain text, HTML, and PDF files, as well as fan conversions that make the file compatible with Kindle, ePub, eReader, Mobi, & more.
