KitchenAid Rebates, Black Friday Deals, + Gift Guide Update

Want a KitchenAid mixer? Black Friday may be the time to snag one on the cheap. Well, cheap for KitchenAid, at least. KitchenAid has several rebates available, including stand mixers purchased by Dec. 13, 2009.
To buy a KitchenAid on the cheap, go to Kohl’s on Black Friday for their early bird savings. From 4:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., you can get these deals:
- KitchenAid Classic 4.5 qt. stand mixer: $199.99 (reg. $259.99) + an extra 15% off + $20 mail-in rebate.
- KitchenAid Artisan 5 qt. stand mixer: $299.99 (reg. $359.99) + an extra 15% off + $30 mail-in rebate.
- KitchenAid Professional 600 6 qt. stand mixer:
$399.99 (reg. $499.99) + an extra 15% off + $50 mail-in rebate. Amazon.com’s Black Friday Week deal beats Kohl’s price.

Jennifer, I had another idea for you. Sometimes museum stores have excellent gifts, esp. those on the clearance table that they want to move quickly. If you’re a museum member, they usually offer a discount as well. Most of the time you don’t have to pay museum admission to shop in their store. I have snagged beautiful cards and posters at museum stores over the years.
