Free In-Flight Internet Access–Update
Posted By CitiesCheap on November 16, 2009
Apologies—there may have been a bit of a mix-up with today’s first free in-flight internet access post. I’ve revised it, and I’m looking for more info. Will keep you updated. In the meantime, I’ve tracked down a few codes to try if you’re looking for free GoGo In-Flight Internet Access. These codes *should work for anyone. I’ve linked you to the sources for each, so you can check for updates to the various threads:
- Google & Virgin America have partnered to offer free Wi-Fi access in 47 airports as well as on Virgin America flights through January 15, 2009. No promo code required.
- Ksamy posted a multi-use code on FatWallet for mobile devices, which is good through Dec. 31, 2009. Use promo code “MOBILE2009AA”. Based on the promo code, it’s for American Airlines.
- Another deal from FatWallet: starcrossed posted a free GoGo In-flight Internet code that s/he came across in the American Airlines Admirals Club. The promo code is “1939admiral70aa” and per starcrossed, it works with existing accounts. It’s valid through Dec. 31, 2009. Not sure if it’s a one-time or a multi-use code, so use the free trial codes first, and then give this a shot.
- Update: The original code posted was “2285302783nrc” & Jason noted that it expired on Jan. 7, 2010. It just worked for @Carl, a repeat user, on AirTran, so it’s definitely worth trying if you have an existing account & you’re flying AirTran or Delta.
