Southwest’s 4th Quarter 72-Hour Sale: One-Way Flights as Low as $25 + Fees

Planning a quick trip? Are you a college student heading home for winter break? Don’t miss out on this deal:

Southwest is offering a 72-hour 4th Quarter Sale. From October 27-October 29, 2009, at 11:59 p.m. PST, you can buy tickets for as low as $25.

Here are a few of the details—read through all of the restrictions, etc, on the site before you book to make sure it’s a good deal for you:

  • The deal is good for travel from December 2-16, 2009, and January 5-February 10, 2010, and it’s valid for every day except Sundays.
  • One-Way Fares are $25 for travel from 0-374 miles, $50 for 375-549 miles, $75 for 550-999 miles, and $100 for 1000+ miles.
  • Fares do not include a federal excise tax of $3.50 for each flight segment (i.e., a takeoff & a landing), airport-assigned passenger fees of up to $9, or 9/11 security fees of up to $5 one way.
