Free Chicken at KFC on October 26 (This time they mean it…)

Posted By CitiesCheap on October 22, 2009

I think KFC learned its lesson after its last free chicken debacle—skip the coupons & just make it free. On Monday, October 26, 2009, more than 5,000 KFCs will give U.S. customers a free piece of grilled chicken (one per customer). No word in the AP article about whether there’s a time frame for the giveaway—you may want to check KFC’s website or give them a quick call before you go.

I, for one, still haven’t tried it. I never got around to trying to redeem the Oprah-freebie coupons. Have you tried it? Is it worth the trip?

    No it’s not. Big disappointment

  2. Kathy says:

I tried the KFC grilled chicken last time and it was very good. Almost as good as the fried, and with the same seasonings. Also it is crispy and not mushy.

Thanks for the info on more of it!

  3. kj says:

The KFC grilled chicken is ‘okay’ – just okay. Nothing to write home about.

  4. an says:

great that it’s free again but I refuse to dine at KFC after the Oprah incident. That was a ridiculous the stunt that they tried to pull on consumers.

  5. I haven’t tried it yet either, but EVERYONE I know says that it’s delicious and definitely worth it.! This is a great time for me to see for myself. Thanks for the info.
