I don’t know if I’m technically allowed to compare Consignment Crossroads to eBay, but some of its features remind me of it—one of the main differences being that it’s essentially an online consignment store.
Here’s the deal: On Consignment Crossroads, you can buy or sell merchandise, no bidding required. Items aren’t limited to baby gear, either—you can sell clothes, shoes, accessories, jewelry, handbags, household items, wedding dresses, & more. The consigning fee is only up to 5% of the sale price, and that’s only if the price of the item + shipping tops $20. Otherwise, it’s free to sell. I’ve never been good about selling clothes on consignment—the one time I did, I remember the fee was more of a 60-40 split—but if it’s your thing, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Thanks to Jody at Charlotte on the Cheap for the lead.
