Feel like taking a week to catch up on movies & video games? It’s tempting, especially when you’re escaping from oppressive summer heat or non-stop rain.
The Blockbuster Summer Escape Pass lets you do just that. For $10, you can get unlimited movie & game rentals for a week. The catch is that you can only rent one at a time. Still, it pays for itself in 3 rentals (2, depending on pricing in your area), so you’ll still come out ahead even if you just rent one a day.
I think it’s perfect for families. We can rent a kid-friendly flick in the morning, and then swap it out for our own entertainment in the evening. I’m thinking it might be a good promotion to use to catch up on series that we never saw, like the Sopranos.
