Free Kids Workshops at Home Depot
Posted By CitiesCheap on June 19, 2009
Apparently, today is free crafts day on Cities on the Cheap. There’s a national day for everything. Maybe I should just declare today National Free Crafts Day.
On the first Saturday of the month, The Home Depot hosts a free kids workshop. On Saturday, July 4, kids can build their own picnic caddy. We’re heading out on Saturday, August 1, so that they can build their own message center. It has a dry erase board, a cork board, and hooks. I know that’ll go over well with both of my girls.
The free kids workshops take place from 9:00 a.m.-noon, and the kids leave with their project, an orange apron & an achievement pin.
