Free Crafts, Snacks, & Activities at Bass Pro Shop Family Summer Camps
Posted By CitiesCheap on June 19, 2009
My kids love crafts. I’m not a fan. I adore the end result—it’s the process that I can do without. I don’t like the mess that many art projects bring with them. I much prefer to take them elsewhere to make certain creations.
If I lived near a Bass Pro Shops, I’d definitely take advantage of this deal: Many stores are offering a free Family Summer Camp. They have free activities, such as a casting pond & a laser shooting gallery, and free workshops about everything from bird watching to camping (even S’mores make-&-taste events). But more importantly to my kids, they have crafts. You can paint your own plaster animal tracks this weekend, make a patterned keychain on June 27 & 28, or design your own birdhouse on July 4 & 5.
I pulled the info from the Lawrenceville, GA, store’s flyer. Details may vary from location to location, so track down your local Bass Pro Shop to check for participation & schedule variations.
