Coupon for BOGO Twisted Bagel Sandwiches at Einstein Bros. Bagels

Posted By admin on February 7, 2010

While I was indulging in a free bagel & shmear at Einstein Bros. Bagels a week or so ago thanks to the Facebook promo, image I read through the menu & decided that I must head back to try their sandwiches. And now I can try them out on the cheap: Thanks to a coupon I received in Einstein Bros. Bagels’ email update, you can buy one twisted bagel sandwich & get one free. There’s a limit of one coupon per person, and the coupon expires on Feb. 16, 2010. Oh, and the deal is for the sandwich only, not the combo (which, in my view, is actually a better deal—I’m a tap water junkie).

Live Off Groupon for a Year, Get $100,000

Posted By admin on February 7, 2010

You’ll need to apply to be chosen for this deal, image but it sounds like a fun challenge: Groupon.com would like to prove a point—you can live off of Groupons for a year. And they’re about to put the theory to the test.

Groupon will select one person to live off of Groupons for a year—crash at hotels, eat sushi, take pilates classes, etc. It’ll require a bit of creativity—for instance, if a Groupon doesn’t cover tax & tip & you have no cash, you’ll have to find a way to make up the difference. Bribing a random stranger works—you pay for the meal with the Groupon, they’ll pay the tip, etc.

They’ve got a person in mind: Someone who will be entertaining to watch succeed at (or suffer through) this challenge. You’ll need to be funny, social, & resourceful. Groupon will give you a camera, phone, GPS, & a computer to document your experiences. And they’ll give you Groupons in any of their cities, plus travel & lodging Groupons, too, to make the challenge feasible.

If you make it to the end without breaking the rules, they’ll give you $100,000 in actual money. Want to apply? Go to LiveOffGroupon.com for more information.

Posted By admin on February 7, 2010

A few quick deals on Amazon.com:

1) I’m previewing this album as I type this, image and I’m tempted to buy it, if only for the fact that I have nothing else like it on my MP3 player: You can download the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack for $2.99. And you can download Kylie Auldist’s "Make Me Want More" single for free. The offers could end at any time, so if you click through & the prices have reverted back, they’re over.

They’ve also reduced prices on other magazines through February 28, so it may be worth browsing if you’re looking for a deal on a particular title.

3) Reminder: image4through  3:00 p.m. on February 11, you can shop the Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Him, the Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Her, the extra 30% off jewelry sale on Amazon.com. Plus, many of the items qualify for free shipping.

Coupon for Free Crispy Breaded Fish at Long John Silver’s

Posted By admin on February 5, 2010

It’s almost Lent, image so I expect to see more & more fish deals appear in the coming weeks. Here’s the first one:

Long John Silver’s has a “Spin & Win” Fish Fry Game—they’re giving away coupons & prizes, including a $20,000 grand prize sweepstakes.

On the same site, they also have a spot for you to register for a coupon for a free crispy breaded fish. Per the official rules, there’s a limit of one per person, and the coupons will have your name on them, so you may be asked to show ID to redeem it. They’re only giving away 1,000,000 coupons, so if you click through & there’s no mention of the Free Crispy Breaded Fish on the left side of the screen, they’re gone.
