Free Access to Ancestry.com’s Online Database through September 6

Posted By CitiesCheap on September 2, 2010

My uncle is good about tracing our family’s roots; I’ll need to pass him this lead:

Through September 6, 2010, you can search Ancestry.com’s online databases for free. Per the site, it’s the world’s largest online collection of immigration records. I have no idea if that’s accurate, but it’s many more than I’ve ever browsed through, that’s for sure.

Thanks to Jody at Charlotte on the Cheap for the lead.
